first -- two guys jumping out of the window...
instead of cooperating with the inspectors...
next -- a crowd fighting with the policemen...
and finally -- are such questions as "why don't Chinese like black people?"...

do you think Chinese people's attitude is a direct result of African people's actions?

I don't know what the African guy thought he was accomplishing by jumping out a window. Without a James Bond jetpack, his adventure was bound to end badly.



My limited experience with the Public Security Bureau in China has been generally favorable. Foreign visitors need to register their address within 48 hours of arriving in-country and receive a reminder call when their visa date is close to expiration/renewal.



My guess is that the African guy had more to hide than just an expired visa, otherwise why take such a chance with his own life? An expired visa only results in a 5,000 RMB fine and the Entry/Exit Bureau still renews you! My friend was 45 days illegal once, got fined, and got a renewed visa despite it all.

This kind of events happened everyday in many countires. Police arresting either over-stayers (visa expired) or illegal immigrants.



Just that don't know why when it comes to China. Whatever the government or Police do will be considered as wrong.

The reputation of this particular African country and its people is terrible. Who like them? What trade or activities they are mainly involved? It nothing about racist. The answer is how they behave and act in any foreign countries.

Africans surround China police station to protest alleged death



GUANGZHOU, July 15 (Xinhua) — More than a hundred African people surrounded a police station Wednesday in south China’s Guangdong Province following an alleged death of an African stall-holder.



Police in Guangzhou, the provincial capital, conducted surprise passport checks at their stalls Wednesday afternoon, protesters told Xinhua.



The checks led to a brawl with people who failed to show their passports, they said.



Some protestors said one African died, but others said two died.



One protestor told Xinhua that he was Nigerian, but others declined to reveal their nationalities.



A police officer denied anyone had died.

not say every african is aids,but most of them is aids.

I don't think it is the reason of Chinese people. Most of Chinese people are kind and friendly. They won't hurt anybody that do nothing to them.
