I would suggest you to take taxi, most convenient and it is cheap and fast, within 15 -20 minutes, cost you about US$5.00. Macau is a small city, you can take a taxi and get around the whole city within 1.5 hours if the traffic isn't busy!

The Airport is on Taipa island and the Ferry Terminal (Jetfoil Pier) is near to the city centre, Sands Hotel and Casino / Mandarin Oriental...etc. google Macau map and check the distance between the airport and the Jetfoil Pier, it is really not so far + the Jetfoil serves to Hong Kong is 24 hours, the frequency is 15 minutes. It takes 1 hour to reach Hong Kong.

Budget Hotel in Macau is cheap especially in weekdays, 3 stars hotels from US$50+ some included breakfast, you may check the cost from the travel agency there in your city.

Below is a Hong Kong travel agency which you may contact and ask for the package price. Tel: 852 - 2366 7070, Fax: 2316 7333

Macau is very small geographically speaking so a taxi would be the easiest. The budget accomodations will take a little digging.

Just check out the following official web site for all details about Macau

I have never had trouble getting a taxi in Macau..........the line may look long, but the taxis are lined up and come as fast as people can get in. Maybe 10 minutes? No, taxis are not a problem. You can't wait ten minutes, then you will never live through the customs check!
