The wall is hundreds of miles long. There are steps all along the way. I would guess there are 10s of thousands, maybe more. I doubt anyone has ever counted. Some parts of the wall are split off from the main wall. Many parts are crumbling.

Well the wall is really long, and only the hilly parts have stairs. Some other parts are just plain flat. Plus a lot of the sections has been destroyed during war or by nature. So it's probably impossible to tell.

one must ask a much more specific question. there is more than one place to get on the great wall. and on the great wall there are many steps. it is truly one of the great wonders of the world that i would advise anyone to see for yourself. also there are photo books on the wall. it is truly an impressive sight to see.........

more than I could ever climb....and I tried many times...remember these can be big stairs..they were built for horses
