NOT reliable source.
Every time if i provide ''wiki'' article as a source to a paper i'm writing, they are always rejected.
Then why do people still believe 50 center exists just because a wiki article?

50 cents is not much money. According to the legend of "50 centers" there are people in China who work for 50 cents to post odd comments on social media sites. This sounds ridiculous to me because no one can live on 50 cents.
I have been accused on this forum of being a "50 center" because I respect China and the Chinese people. Being pro-China makes me a dangerous person in the eyes of frightened Americans and Europeans.
I have simple tastes in life, but apartments in my neighborhood cost 2 to 4 million yuan. If I was only earning 50 cents, then I would need 10 lifetimes to save up a down-payment. Neither I nor anyone else is a "50 center". No one needs to pay me for my opinion on Yahoo, I offer it for free.

Wiki is written by people such as you and I. Most of the articles have clearly indicated reliable sources on the bottom, so not all are lies if you visited the resource sites. However, there are some people who likes pranks, so they input misleading/misunderstood details into the article.
Other articles, such as modern issue ones, have their sources taken straight from the news. The news provides truths of the current situation, as it is. Therefore one cannot say that news is telling lies, because they are telling the truth as of the moment.
You cannot say Wiki is BS because some sources are reliable and trusted. However, you must use your own intuitiveness to figure out the truth.

People have misunderstandings about wiki, wiki itself is not a reference source it is a link to reference sources. Many articles on wiki use outside sources as references. When people quote wiki as their source they should mean the reference sources within it and this is what you should be quoting that instead of the wiki link when writing your essay.
An Chinese example of it in the "50 cents party" wiki links is reference 6 in the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/50_Cent_Party, if this was your first source of information you would reference it has this.
50-cent party members get there name from getting pay half a dollar from each post they make [1], however this is most likely to be untrue and that the name was formed as a mean to mock those that engage in the practise of repeated posting the same ......

Mr Abe, I do not believe you're a 50-center either, you worth more than that to the CCP. They need someone with good English writing skill as you to work full time in their propaganda machine in spreading good things about the CCP in English media and forums.
A vast majority of the people on here aren't naive as Mainlanders though, they know what's right and what not. When you're translating CCP's propaganda theme into English which in fact is making a fool out of yourself and CCP. For instance you always mention that people around the world respect CCP, yes, they only respect CCP's huge budget which is collected from taxpayers money and CCP could dispose of it in whatever manner they desire with absolutely no accountability needed. No sensible person on earth would respect a government that do not respect its own people. Will you respect Kim of N.Korea?
btw, US$0.50 is over 3 Yuan which is not bad in Mainland's living standard.

On Wikipedia there are things that should not appear.. and there are big things missing. I stopped writing there for this reason. That's not an objective knowledge: it's something "filtered" and "managed" by few common people... is that correct ?
An example?
Search AMICINA on wikipedia... it gives no results, right?
Well, now search it on google and enter the first result
Ok, it's new... but doesn't it deserve to be on Wikipedia ?
I made this example because it seems you're really interested in China and chinese culture/language so I think you'll be happy to discover (hidden) world.
We left and returned!

You don't need to rely on Wiki to justify a belief in the existence of 50-centers. The evidence is there to see in multiple Y!A categories, and other sources are available:
If it wasn't for the fact that 50-centers mostly serve only to make the PRC government look very stupid in the eyes of the rest of the world, then the plug on your US operations would have been pulled long ago.

in academia, wikipedia will never be accepted as a reference
