Do you feel sorry for the poor Chinese that can't get out of red China?

I wise to express my utter revulsion and disgust for the red Chinese commies which continues to violate peoples human rights and subjects them to torture and oppression. Chinese are seeking to get out of that hell on earth, the lucky ones manage to get out, my heart goes out to the ones that don't.

Here in America, land of freedom we have access to the internet. But in Red China, only the upper leaders of the commie leftist can do so.

You are an imbecile, but that's beside the point I want to make. There is, buried in the mountain of idiocies in your question, a shred of truth. Most Chinese cannot freely leave China and travel the world as we do in the "West". In addition for not being allowed to travel to many countries due to Chinese travel restrictions, many if not most Western countries make it almost impossible (except in very rare circumstances, for studies, business, etc.) for a Chinese to obtain a visa.

What an ignorant question....

Why don't you buy a plane ticket and travel to China...open your eyes to a beautiful country with amazing culture and people.

Stop hiding behind your keyboard and spouting nonsense. I was very happy in China, and had no trouble accessing the net, sending emails, chatting, etc, etc. They enjoy as much freedoms as the rest of us.

Please....get informed, and try to become more culturally aware.

And anyway....China is experiencing a great deal of growth, and prosperity, and is poised to become the worlds leading economy. Poor Chinese, torture? There are poor people all over the world, and torture as well.

The askers question ticked me off......sorry for the rant people^^

You shouldn't talk that way about things you don't know. Some people actually love their country very much, and would never wish to leave it. Think of what China has: thousands of years of history, culture, and tradition. The United States cannot boast of the same.

My guess is that you've only heard the news, and that you are actually quite ignorant...you've never left the United States, have you? I'll admit, the US does have its good qualities too. Just as you shouldn't think that everyone in China is oppressed and unhappy.

To answer your question, yes, if they want to get out, then I would feel sorry for them if they couldn't. But if they didn't want to, then I am happy they were where they want to be.

Yeah, right. Here in America. . .where the "patriot" act big brothers us, where torture is now allowed, where the christians shoot doctors, where gasoling is now $3+ a gallon, where people can no longer afford winter, where billionaires are protected from taxes, where corporations out-source all of the jobs, where 1/2 of 1% of the people own 95% of all the wealth. You might like the US as do I, but I won't bash another country just for being different. Remember, he who is without sin. . .

It is pathetic so many westerners are so ignorant about China, they thought Chinese were still living in the 19th century. I just wish they could come to see what China is like today.

Most of my American friends have never been out of the country, many of them have never been out of the state. Should I critisize US government or anyone for that? no, everyone has his own life. What I want to say is most American don't know anything about the outside world.

You will have to go there one day instead of theorising.

I used the internet when I was in China and so did lots of Chinese.

USA is an expert at torture, oppression and violation of human rights. Ask David Hicks

To Leona,

You are 100% wrong, I'm a Chinese from Hong Kong and I'm now in my apartment in Beijing, going to post this answer here in YA. I posted 2 questions 2 days ago when I was in Hong Kong, I picked the best answers today in Beijing. I can log in YA wherever I go within China with my laptop (in any Starbuck, hotels... etc.)!

Your answer shows how ignorant you are, so as the asker of this question.

It is 21:22 here in China, do you know how many Chinese are online and playing online games or chatting now? Do you know what is QQ?

To answer this question.

I'm one of the 1.4 billion of Chinese in China, I'm happy about my life here with my parents, relatives and friends. I do not want to move away to any western country, I have my career here and no one is torturing me, not even my boss! My ideal city to live is still Hong Kong where I think it is the most convenient place in the world.

Do you feel sad for the poor Latinos and blacks and others, that are stuck in the ghetto in America. Start here at home first. How about the homeless in the streets or the hungry in West Virginia etc. Do you feel sorry for Americans.

Or are happy for Bush and Cheney who make money from every bomb that explodes in Iraq.

Yes, i do feel sorry for them. Especially their freedom of speech and press. I was in china once, and the news was half censored with weird repeating commercials.
