li river, guilin(china)?

Question

i want to know how much should i spent to take a cruise for li river form gulin to yangshuo?
And where should i catch it? and what time is it start?
Because i already searching in internet but there isnt information about this.

Hi, I cannot remember the price, but there are a few cruise operators on the Li River. Are you traveling on your own? Otherwise, you can get in touch with a tour agency in the city to make the arrangement for you. Basically, you cruise up-river or down-river. Check with the tour operator there will be best. It will be quite a pleasant ride. And you do get lunch onboard too. It is like a 4-hour cruise.

Most buy through a local tourist agency (can do on arrival). It usually leaves in the morning and includes and overpriced lunch. The cost used to be around $25 (in 2003). Don't know how much now.



I once stayed in Yangshuo (far more interesting but more "spartan" accomodations), rented a bicycle, rented a smaller boat that went north halfway to Guilin and then got on the bicycle to return to Yangshuo. That was INFINITELY better than the typical Li River cruise you get from Guilin.
